Our Capital Campaign

"Fix It & Fill It"

God reached out, touched my mouth, and said, "Look! I've just put my words in your mouth-hand-delivered! See what I've done? I've given you a job to do among nations and governments-a red-letter day! Your job is to pull up and tear down, take apart and demolish, And to start over, building and planting."

Dear Members and Friends:

I continue to be edified by your faith and generosity. You have been so very generous in your support of our many pastoral ministries. Indeed, every time I have turned to you in need, you have been ready and willing to help.

I need all of your help as we embark upon this ambitious building campaign that will significantly affect the spiritual life and pastoral ministries of our community.

This first campaign to build known as, "Fix It & Fill It," will help us meet many of our current and future needs. This facility expansion will include a much larger ministry center, which will include a commercial kitchen, classrooms, nursery, restrooms, and more space for youth activities as well as more space for our social ministries. This facility will also host special church functions where kingdom values are taught and a host of other activities including activities for families. This center will serve as a focal point for many church functions for years to come.

In order to build, we must all consider making major sacrifices by giving generously and by encouraging others to do likewise. Obviously, because resources and obligations vary, not every person or family can pledge the same amount; however, all can make the same size sacrifice. Indeed, the very basis of our present campaign is equal sacrifice, not equal gifts. May our gifts, therefore be a reflection of our true appreciation of the gifts God has given us.

May the Lord bless and prosper the work of our hands as we join together to build a stronger Dominion Christian Centre community. May we continue growing together in faith as we build the kingdom of God in our midst. Thank you in advance for your prayers and for your generous support.

Sincerely in Christ,

Dr. Anthony R. Parrett

Senior Pastor

Almighty God,

We praise and thank You for the wellspring of blessings that You have showered over each of us, our families, and our faith community of Dominion Christian Centre. We come to You now in faith, ready to respond to the challenge of providing for the present and future needs of our family. Give us greatful hearts that we may cheerfully return a portion of the gifts that You have so generously given us. May the gift of our sacrifice truly express our love for You and our commitment to fulfilling your will. May we continue growing together in faith and introducing others to You. May Your goodness be upon us and bring success to our labors. We ask this through Christ our Lord.
